Jehovah Witness

Today I have a chance to talk to someone (say person A) who are studying bible with Jehovah Witness. It's a pity, becaue I know that I cannot persuade A to leave and stay away from them. The people there are nice to A, and A can feel the love and affection from them. So even A still didn't believe that God exist, A is still willing to help with JW to do some translation work.

I feel sad, because neither do I, nor the fellowship, nor the church can provide this level of care and affection to A. People doesn't care too much about the doctrinal differences. They are looking at the deeds. Sadly, sometimes Jehovah Witness, or even other 'cults', are more passionate to spread their gospel, and doing a much better follow-up work towards seekers. Some may argue, that they are zealous because they are not sure of their salvation. Yet the true is, many people choose to follow them because of their zeal.

Today again I had received my father call, and accompanying are the pressure to finish my research as soon as possible.

Tomorrow is the welcome party, and accompanying are needs of following up the seekers and the corresponding fellowship work.

God has called us to be a steward in our work. It's true, and I have to concentrate more on work. Sometimes, it is better to be blind to something or to have hard-heart, so that we don't need to be distracted. But perhaps that's the reason why cults like Jehovah Witness florish, as it is they, not the mainstream christian, who are more likely and willing to make commitment to their cause. This is a paradox.
