Several Thoughts
Several thoughts for this week;
1. 'Come, follow me'(Mark 1:16-20, 2:13-14)- sometimes you will follow something even though you don't fully understand what it meant to you. So as the way to follow Jesus.
2. There is a moment of silence and quietness when you are taking the train on sunday evening, even thought it was packed with people. Perhaps people was taking a rest; perhaps people was watching the sunset; Perhaps people was dreaming;
3. Hiking for 10 hours will make you feel tired physically, but not mentally; However, shopping only for 2 hour will exhaust both your mind and your body.
4. Some people will keep talking and without asking you any questions; Some people will keep asking you questions without doing any talking.
5. Family is the most important element for majority of people.
6. Many people has a story for his/her family, or some other things; yet mant times the story was buried into the sand and only a few can see where it is and dig it out.
7. Many people serving in the fellowship are in the danger, or showing signs of, being burnt-out. Perhaps things were being pushed a bit too hard.
8. It is difficult for the church and fellowship to grow (in terms of number, not about spiritual sense) once it has reached a certain level.
9. When reaching out the world, has to stay watchful that your own house is not on fire and the devil is not attacking from behind and within.
10. Perhaps it is easier to talk when you are taking off your glass and contact lens;
11. Throwing a stone to the window to call someone is working in the real life;
12. Trusting God will give you peace.
So much for tonight and it's a time to go to sleep.

2 Comments:
Hi... a few responses:
1. Absolutely -- to be child-like.
2. The Sabbath -- the day of rest...
3. Only for guys, but not for women...
4. Neither one is really having a real conversation. One is a "lecture"; another an "interrogation".
5. Absolutely agree.
6. But when someone shares stories about their family, especially those that is buried, it means that they trust enough to be open.
7. There are many reasons people get burned out. Whatever it is, let's pray that grace and patience be abound in our actions: 1 Thes 5:11-15
8. If God's Spirit is present, people will come. He can make the impossible possible.
9. Agree
10. I am sure there is a symbolism here somewhere, but I am not sure what it is and so cannot comment... maybe I need to take off my glasses/contacts ;)
11. Let's hope it's not thrown too hard or the stone isn't too big - else it may wake up the whole house!
12. Amen
Thanks for the "proverbs".
Your response make it more complete, thanks!
